After receiving a DUI Matt Brock was recommended to me by a friend and after calling his office to set up a consultation Matt Brock was available to meet with me that same day and was already very prepared as soon as I arrived. I was impressed with his plan to help me with my case and he offered a very flexible payment plan for me so I hired him as my lawyer. Unfortunately I messed up and got a second DUI shortly after my first which made Matt’s job as an attorney much more difficult but he did not drop me as a client or increase his cost or anything. I work in the medical profession and my biggest goal was to save my medical license and Matt went above and beyond in court to fight to get me a deal I never imagined I would get. For a second DUI most people have to do up to 45 days or more in jail in addition to multiple other consequences but Matt worked out a deal to get my sentence reduced to 7 days and got me a restricted license. I was able to work out my work schedule so I wouldn’t have to take off work when I turned myself into jail to complete my time but after I turned myself in the jail facility messed up and calculated my time wrong and were going to try to make me stay several extra days past my out date. I had my mom call Matt and let him know and he spent an entire day battling with the court system and the jail facility and even made a personal trip to the jail to get them to correct their mistake. Matt has literally been a life saver for my career and life in general considering the hole I dug myself in and I am forever grateful. He’s a hard working lawyer and very well educated with the law especially related to drinking and drug charges. Matt recently represented me in a domestic case. He was very obtainable, answered calls, and spent time to have my case details pulled before I even consulted with him. My case was dismissed. I was charged with a DUI and Implied Consent. I met with Matt and explained my situation to him. I contacted his office and within 24 hours, I received a call and an email from him personally. I made a mistake when reviewing my paperwork. When I thought I had another 6 months to complete my service I in fact had less than 10 days. I hired Matt Brock after hearing about him from multiple people and reading great reviews. Matt fought my second offense dui case with me for almost a year. After a year of fighting with the DA for a better deal Matt finally convinced him to come off of the mandatory 45 days and got my sentence knocked down to 12 days! I was going to lose my job and would have had to repeat a 5 year program I have been in college for, if I would have had to serve the 45 days. Matt wasn’t going to let that happen. On April 10 I posted a review where I stated that Davis and Hoss was a crappy law firm and I would like to retract that statement. I’m sure they are actually a very good firm. When I posted that I was full of emotion at that time and felt as though I was being discriminated against over financial reasons rather than ethical standards. That’s why I raved over the services Matt Brock provided me. He not only represented me in the best possible way but he was willing to work with my finacial situation as well. At a lower price too. I’m also confident Matt got me a case conclusion equal to what D&H would have probably achieved anyways, so why spend the extra money? Davis & Hoss is a crappy law firm. I don’t care if they are rated #1 or not. I was a guy legitimately accused of a charge that was not accurate. Davis & Hoss told me they couldn’t represent me unless I paid them $5k in full before trial. They were more worried about their money rather than helping a justified client whose case was cut and dry. To me that is unethical bad business. That’s when I called Matt Brock. He understood my situation and was not only willing to take my case, but at a MUCH better price. He was obviously more worried about helping a client seek proper justice rather that worrying what his pocket book would look like afterwards. His professionalism, attitude, and overall being convinced me I’d made the right decision long before we went to court. Court went great. The title of this review could not be more true. I consulted with Matt at one of the most stressful and scary times in my life. I was charged with a dui, open container, and implied consent. This wasn’t my first time being in trouble with the law, so I knew I needed to hire an attorney. I’ve hired attorneys in the past for previous charges, but I never felt as confident as I did walking into the court room with Matt Brock beside me. After having a consultation with Matt I decided to hire him, price was awesome, and I felt I finally had someone by my side. My case was a little more complicated than your average dui arrest. After going to court we decided to take my case to the next level. At this point I was skeptical about keeping Matt as my attorney due to his experience level as a newer attorney. This was my freedom, a charge on my record that would last forever. I decided to hire another lawyer with years of experience, thinking it was my best option. It wasn’t until my first court date upstairs when I realized I made a mistake. My lawyer (which I will not name) did not do any research on my case. He was asking me questions about my case 5 minutes before the judge called my name. I was recommended to another attorney by a friend, again with years of experience and a big name in Chattanooga. I was arrested for a BUI. I don’t even had a speeding ticket on my record. I met with Matt for an initial consultation and felt very much at ease talking with him. My goal doing into this was trying to get it erased from my record. After the initial consultation we spoke on the phone several times. I was recently in a court battle for my life in Marion county Jasper, T.N. I was seized [pulled over] on March 4th 2019 without a proper sworn search and seizure warrant. The right to due process of law was trespassed according to the authority of Amendment V, Amendment VI and Amendment IV. A proper sworn warrant is to be previously ascertained by law which is required by law according to the authority of the Bill of Rights for the United States of America and the Constitution for the Great State of Tennessee. During this seizure I was Asked, not demanded, to show my identification papers, I stood on my grounds that are protected by the Bill of Rights trying to protect all of We the People’s rights from abusive public servants and refused to show my identification papers. As I stood on those grounds for We the People and not consent to the illegal search and seizure, the arresting public servants were ignoring me and escalated the matter to well beyond reasonable. The public servants stated in their first and second police narrative reports, along with an “indictment” [which do not match] that I allegedly was “weaving, drifting, varying speed, appearing to be impaired” with no lights on my private property automobile at all in the middle of the night, with a gun, drunk on alcohol and high from smoking weed. This was their alleged “probable cause” to seize me without a proper sworn search and seizure warrant. The public sevants alleged probable cause is a Lie. When I refused to show my private property identification papers this caused an upset reaction from these two public servants. One of the servants stated to me how good he was “at doing DUI’s”. The public servants [in reality] had no probable cause to search or seize me, it was all fabricated to justify them trespassing my right to privacy and my right to be let alone. Without going through every single detail of the matter, my life, liberty, and property were taken from me. I was arrested and hauled off to a jailhouse. I called up my friend and counselor now, counselor Brock, to help me get out of a bad situation that was escalated well beyond reason. Counselor Brock stopped the public servants in their tracks, then he put them on the run when the public servants would not hand over the evidence that was required for my defence. I know no better words to say other than, I Highly recommend counselor Brock for criminal defense! Thank you counselor.

In May of 2019 I got arrested for felony possession with intent to resale of cocaine! Was charged and arrested on a disorderly conduct on friday 1/11/19. Called Matt Brock on monday 1/14/19 and set appointment for consult for tuesday 1/15/19. Matt was very thorough explaining what we needed to do to handle my case. He advised me that we should go to court the next day to quickly attempt to have my charge dropped so to not affect my personal and work life negatively. I met Matt at court Wednesday morning on 1/16/19. He had my case added to an already long docket for the day. By 10am my case was dismissed and expunged from my record. I was arrested away from the scene of an accident at my residence for dui after a call to the police. While trying to find a lawyer after I bailed out, one wouldn’t even touch the case and many said they would try to get a good plea bargain. When I met with Matt, he was very affirming that this was a winnable case, which I had already believed, while other lawyers were not as optimistic and didn’t seem ready to fight for me. Matt did a wonderful job in general sessions but, in my own opinion, I was treated unfairly by general sessions, namely due to a blood alcohol content 3 times the legal limit that implies that I should be guilty. My case eventually went to criminal court and was dismissed after the first hearing. All 3 lawyers of the firm were present during my hearing as well. I never had a problem with communication with my attorney, Matt always called me before a court date, and got back to me promptly. If I called and he was at court, he always called me back the same day; he also met with me a couple of times while giving him very short notice (which was every occasion I asked). The rates for a dui attorney were about the same as others but cheaper than some; the consultation was free and very in depth; Matt did not hurry any of our meetings or calls and gave me the time of day to discuss my case. Matt is more than deserving of a 5 star rating and I would be willing to say that for the firm as well. As aforementioned, all 3 attorneys of the firm were present at the hearing; Ms Hayduk crossexamined 2 witnesses and gave the closing statements and done so terrifically. Mr. Brock was an advocate for me from day 1 and was absolutely real and legitimate about what was going on without giving me false hopes or trying to persuade me into taking a plea deal. I have nothing but great and AMAZING things to say about Hayduk and Brock. They literally saved my life! I had a serious DUI case against me that happened in 2015. Was still fighting it 2 years later! With Mr. Brock by my side then later joined Andrea Hayduk. When this all happened I was lost and confused. I was sitting in the courtroom waiting for my name to be called when I spotted Matt Brock defending a client and I was impressed. I asked to speak to him and told Brock about my case. I had 2 DUI charges within 4months, both above .2 BAC. After already having hired Matt to represent me on the first offense, he worked with me on a very reasonable fee for both. During the process, Matt was knowledgeable and encouraging about achieving a desirable and manageable final outcome. During the month between my 2nd charge and court date I was placed under house arrest and had an alcohol monitor, which I was worried I would have to wear for an extended period of time. Matt was able to negotiate my first offense down to wreckless driving, so I would only have the one DUI on my record. As a result, I wasnt faced with the mandatory 45 day jail time and only had to serve 2 days. He was also able to have my house arrest and alcohol monitor removed, so my primary long term adjustment was a 12 month restricted license, which I would have had regardless because I refused a breathalyzer test. After receiving a DUI Matt Brock was recommended to me by a friend and after calling his office to set up a consultation Matt Brock was available to meet with me that same day and was already very prepared as soon as I arrived. I was impressed with his plan to help me with my case and he offered a very flexible payment plan for me so I hired him as my lawyer. Matt has literally been a life saver for my career and life in general considering the hole I dug myself in and I am forever grateful.
